Duterte wants Filipinos comfortable, warns PH wreckers

President Rodrigo Duterte on Dec. 8 warned that he would kill those who want to destroy the youth of the nation, saying the only thing he wants is to make “every Filipino comfortable in his country.”

“What I just wanted was that—do not destroy my city because I will destroy you. I will kill you. Do not destroy the young of my land, ‘yan lang ang pag-asa namin,” Duterte said in his speech during the 84th anniversary celebration of the Department of Labor and Employment in Bulacan.

Duterte gave assurance that Filipinos would be comfortable in the country during his term and asked the people to let him do it.

“As I have always been telling you, I could never promise you to be very happy. But what I can assure you during my term —pagbigyan na ninyo, konting panahon lang naman ‘yan, is I want everybody, every Filipino comfortable in his country,” Duterte said.

Duterte also said he will stop graft and corruption during his stay as president.

“I only promised to stop graft and corruption. It will stop during my time. Walang problema ‘yan.

‘Generation of slaves'

Duterte said shabu creates an age group of slaves and destroys the hard work of parents due to the impact of the substance to the education of their children.

“'Pag binigay mo ‘yan dito sa Pilipinas, sa mga anak namin, you are producing a generation of slaves. Hindi mag[silbi] ng tao kung ‘di slaves of a chemical that would be like monkeys scratching on their backs ‘pag umabot na ‘yan or na makati na masyado,” he said.

Duterte said he does not care if others say he is a killer; and vowed to put an end to corruption, drugs, and to those who want to destroy the country.

Kaya p****** i** mo kung gagawin mo ‘yun, papatayin talaga kita. Wala akong pakialam anong sabihin ninyo, killer-killer. Eh talagang killer. Sino bang hindi maging killer niyan?” Duterte said.

“I promised that. No corruption. Talagang gagawin ko‘yan. T*** ---no drugs. 'Ke mawalaan ako ng trabaho pagka-Presidente, mamatay ako o—wala ako[ng] pakialam. Basta ang malaman ko, I promised the Filipino people during the campaign and I will do it whether you like it or not. Pasensya ka,” he added.
