UP Diliman tops civil eng'g boards, alumnus ranks first
The University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman emerged as the top-performing school in the November 2017 civil engineering licensure examinations, with 113 out of 116 passers, including an alumnus topping the exams.
Nikho Lawrence Ramos Corres from the University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman topped the examinations with a 97.90 percent rating.
Hans Lawrence Eugenio Dela Cruz from the Technological Institute of the Philippines Manila placed second with 97.55 percent, followed by Charles Warren Miranda Go of University of the East- Caloocan with 97.20 percent.
UP- Diliman scored the highest rating of 97.41%, followed by UP Los Baños and Bohol Island State University Tagbilaran with a 96.55% and an 87.04% rating, respectively.
According to the Professional Regulation Commission, 6,075 out of 12,447 passed this year’s licensure examinations for civil engineers, obtaining a higher passing rate compared to the 35.92 percent passing rate last year or 2,514 out of 6,998 passers.
