Aid to Church in Need (ACN) organized the Red Wednesday campaign in the Philippines on Nov. 22 to raise awareness among Filipino Christians about the asperity of Christian persecution.
The Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) summoned all cathedrals, minor basilicas, and national and diocesan shrines to be illuminated in red for the Red Wednesday campaign, and also people to wear red during the campaign.
