Falcons halt Warriors' streak
The Adamson University (AdU) Soaring Falcons snapped the University of the East (UE) Red Warriors’ two-game winning streak, 66-57, on Oct. 18 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay.
The Warriors cut the Falcons' lead down to as much as five points during the last four minutes of the game, 54-59, but AdU's Sean Manganti spearheaded a 7-1 run after swishing a corner trey and a well-executed layup that pulled the Falcons away for the win.
The Falcons’ primary scorers Jerrick Ahanmisi scored 14 points, while Papi Sarr scored a double-double of 12 points and 15 rebounds to lift the team past the streaking Red Warriors.
Alvin Pasaol led the Warriors with game-high 22 points along with Mark Olayon's 16 markers, but still fell short against the gritty Falcons.

The Soaring Falcons will rematch against the defending champion De La Salle University Green Archers on Saturday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, while the Red Warriors will face the University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons on Sundayat the Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
