Falcons whack Bulldogs
THE ADAMSON University (AdU) Soaring Falcons grabbed another win, after besting the National University (NU) Bulldogs, 83-76, on Sunday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Coming from a loss against the De La Salle University (DLSU) Green Archers, the Soaring Falcons made a comeback against the Bulldogs, holding a lead against them throughout the four quarters.
Jjay Alejandro of NU executed great plays during the third quarter with back to back points, but the Falcons led by 10 points with a 13-8 run.
Papi Sarr topscored for the Soaring Falcons, dishing out a double-double of 19 points and 13 rebounds, while Alejandro led the Bulldogs with 25 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists.
Both teams are now on a 2-2 record.
The NU Bulldogs will face the DLSU Green Archers next on Sept. 27 at 2 pm at the Araneta Coliseum, while the Adamson will face University of the East Red Warriors on Oct. 1 at 4 pm at the same venue.
