UST MEC unveils Marian exhibit

The UST Marian Evangelization Community (MEC) has showcased its Marian exhibit at the UST Museum last Sept. 15 to open the 75th anniversary of the Santísimo Rosario Parish.

Vergel Jigs Enriquez, president of UST MEC, invited the Thomasians to visit the exhibit and see the different images and titles of Blessed Virgin Mary.

“We have so [many] activities in store for you, [and] this exhibit is just the beginning. Go to our parish, and see what awaits,” he said in an interview with The Spiral Journal

Enriquez explained that featuring various titles of Mary was made to strengthen the Marian dimension of faith.

“It primarily makes us aware, all of us, the parishioners [of] UST, […] about what the parish is —its history, culture, [and] its very rich interaction with the university, as well as its act as of the present,” he said.

Enriquez expressed his gratitude to all the organizations that collaborated with them to open the Marian exhibit.

“This exhibit is in collaboration not only by our organization, but also by a number of organizations —the UST Museum, the UST Santisimo Rosario Parish, [and] the young Thomasian Lay Dominicans,” he said.

The exhibit is open to the public from Sept. 15 to Oct. 13.
