DLSU MVP Mbala's return petrifies Soaring Falcons

THE DE La Salle University (DLSU) Green Archers continued to dominate as they conquered the Adamson University (AdU) Soaring Falcons, 85-73, in the UAAP Season 80 men’s basketball tournament on Wednesday at the Mall Of Asia Arena.

The Soaring Falcons were greeted with the return of Ben Mbala of the Green Archers, the most valuable player of season 79.

Ben Mbala showed a spectacular return scoring a double-double, 32 points and 10 rebounds, in his first game this season, also showing accuracy from the 3-point line around the end of the first half.

Robbie Manalang scored 16 points, while Sarr contributed 12 markers to lead the Falcons in a losing effort.

The Adamson University (AdU) is at a 1-2 win-loss record while the De La Salle Green Archers continue with a 3-0 streak.

DLSU will go against the University of the Philippines on September 23 at the Mall of Asia Arena, 4 p.m., while AdU will next face the National University on September 24, at the same time and venue. Miguel Baleros
