Eccentric, jubilant and at times melancholy, Chino grew up with visual art and video games rather than books, where he developed the hobby of drawing random things on paper. Graduated from The University of Santo Tomas High School, he felt that he needed to expand his knowledge in different fields, rather than just visual arts.

 

Being widely known as a fluent English speaker, he thought of taking up journalism. Unsure of his future, however, he seems to have aspirations in working as an illustrator in a broadsheet, someday. He is currently a member of the UST Journalism Society, working under the Creatives Committee.
